Other information
This pattern is written in UK terms so Double Crochet (dc) would be Single Crochet (sc) in American terms
Work in continuous rounds throughout unless otherwise stated. Do not join the end of the row just keep going round like a spiral
Use a stitch marker such as a hair pin or scrap piece of yarn to mark the start of the next round and remember to move it as you start the next round
The number at the end of each row is the number of stitches you should have at the end of each round. This should help you to see if you have completed the row correctly

Finishing your owl
Now you can use your imagination to “decorate” your owl or use the information below as a guide to finishing your owl.
Add Safety eyes as shown in the picture or space as you wish.
Add a beak and feet using black/grey yarn and a yarn needle.
If you want to add eyelash yarn on the face use a yarn needle to backstitch the yarn from one corner of the head down to the beak and back up to the other corner.
Cut four 3 inch lengths of the eyelash yarn.  Sew the ends of 2 pieces to each corner of the head to for the “ears” of the owl as shown in the picture.
Stuff the handle and head and use the eyelash yarn to join the ends of the head together closing the opening....and dont forget your bell! ENJOY!
